I find it interesting how there's just a hint of the rays leaking out from above the clouds and all.. the clouds are intense, though, especially at the top where it's lighter and more colourful?
I think the effect of the lighting on the overall piece is fantastic, anyway. The wideness is brilliant and the positioning isn't too bad...
I guess part of me wishes that there were more colours... and maybe a bit more brightness as well? The naturalness of this piece makes it easier for us to engage in, though, and it's quite easy to imagine us being there as well. It must have been a breathtaking view, more so if you actually watched it go all the way down.
